The whole journey began as a degree project at the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm. The project resulted in a patented innovation for the flexible hook grip and has formed the basis for the further development of Gripstar's product design. The first version reached the market in 2007 and we have since continued to test, develop and fine-tune every detail of the dram strap to create the world's best grip.
